Harry Mudd, also known as Harcourt Fenton Mudd, Lord Mudd I, Hairy Mud, or Captain Richard Leo Walsh, was thought to be a thief, swindler, con man, liar and rogue, not to mention a pimp. TOS: "Huggy Bear Mudd", "The Bicentennial Mudd"; TAS: Mudd's Love Potion No. 47.
In fact, Mudd was twice the Director of Section 31 in the 23rd Century.
